We’re hiring a Fleet Intelligence Manager at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. This position is fully remote.

The Fleet Intelligence Manager owns the intelligence and decision layer of EquipmentShare’s fleet within the Uptime Management Center. This role operates alongside peers in Telematics, Embedded Systems, Data Engineering, and Data Science, and is accountable for translating technical data into real-world operational and customer impact.

Primary Responsibilities Own the fleet intelligence strategy within the Uptime Management Center. Leverage telematics, embedded systems, and operational data to deliver clear, prioritized recommendations that inform operational execution and customer-facing decisions. Define and own decision frameworks for fleet signals including runtime, load, and utilization thresholds; maintenance triggers and escalation criteria; and identification and response to derate events or performance degradation. Ensure fleet intelligence consistently translates into timely, repeatable operational actions. Partner closely with Telematics, Embedded Systems, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams to operationalize data, models, and alerts. Align intelligence outputs with operational workflows and customer-facing processes. Drive proactive interventions that improve uptime, availability, and equipment reliability. Prioritize service actions based on equipment health, usage patterns, and customer impact. Influence fleet deployment, rotation, and lifecycle decisions to maximize performance and capital efficiency. Define and own core fleet intelligence KPIs across the Uptime Management Center. Develop and maintain reporting that supports real-time operational execution and strategic planning. Ensure insights are trusted, clearly communicated, and consistently acted upon by stakeholders. Establish best practices for fleet intelligence workflows, decision ownership, and accountability. Mentor and guide intelligence or analytics resources as the function grows. Exposure to predictive maintenance, asset health monitoring, or anomaly detection. Experience operating within a centralized operations or command-center environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

 

Education and Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Analytics, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).·   At least 5+ years of experience in fleet operations, analytics, telematics, or asset-intensive environments. Strong experience working with telematics or embedded/IoT data. Advanced knowledge in Generators, Compressors, HVAC, and Pumps. Experience collaborating with engineering, data, and technical teams.

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
