Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Philippines office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

The Role

As a Fleet Electrification Data Analyst, you will apply Analytics on curated enterprise data and self-constructed data sets to tackle complex business problems.  Deliver hands-on, as well as cross-functional solutions that enables the business with self-serve and ongoing actionable insights.

What You’ll Do

You provide guidance on describing enterprise or vehicle performance using statistical methods and can craft ad-hoc reports to share findings and recommendations with business partners.You thrive in reciprocal environments with leaders and managers to resolve and address ad-hoc data and reporting needs.Build statistical models that depict company-wide trends.You perform testing and validation of data sets.You enjoy the challenge of determining the meaning of data and explaining how various teams and leaders can leverage it to improve and streamline their processesYou enjoy keeping defined structures in documentation and data and have a large toolset in data exploration and analysis methodologies to tackle business problems.Digital Upskilling - On the job digital upskilling for self and leverage expertise to train the community.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative fieldCommunication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects to a wider audienceHighly Desired Skills - 2 or more years proficiency in most of the following:R or Python and understand their limitationsTwo or more analytical methodologies such as statistical process/tools, descriptive/diagnostic analytics, machine learning and text analyticsData Integrations with expertise using SQL, Databricks or KNIMEBusiness Intelligence/Reporting with experience using Power BI, Excel, or CognosUnderstanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques

Excellent collaboration and project management skillsAffinity with technology and/or familiarity with analytics tools and techniquesHighly motivated and willing to learn and take on new challengesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
