**Job Title: Fleet Mechanic** **Job Description** As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles, with a focus on medium and heavy-duty diesel tractors and trailers. Your expertise will ensure that all vehicles meet DOT and OSHA regulations. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on all types of vehicles. + Perform preventative maintenance within the fleet department. + Respond to service calls as required. + Create work orders in SAP and ensure working times and tasks are logged into the computer. + Maintain tools and clean up the work area before the end of the shift. + Participate in and adhere to required safety training. + Support departments by communicating out-of-service vehicles and downtimes. **Essential Skills** + Experience in diesel, fleet maintenance, and preventive maintenance. + Proficiency in diesel engine repair and troubleshooting. + Ability to diagnose and repair airbrake systems. + Strong mechanical and technical aptitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of airbrake and electrical systems and components preferred. + Valid CDL Class A Driver's License preferred. + Prior experience using a pallet jack or forklift preferred. + Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required. **Why Work Here?** Join a team at the largest beverage company in the world, where you will enjoy fantastic company benefits and a stable work schedule from Monday to Friday.
