DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Fleet Controller to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

\n

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

\n\nThe purpose of this role is to ensure optimum availability of the transport fleets is achieved in line with the key performance indicators, with strict adherence to legal compliance and Company Policy. \nEnsure sites manage the legal requirements of the business including MOT, road tax, servicing and tachograph checks and all relevant fridge calibrations and breakdowns.\nManage Tachograph controls and infringements. \nResponsible for the co-ordination of planned and unplanned vehicle maintenance carried out by several vehicle contractor companies.\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nFull DL and access to vehicle for site travel.\nHGV Fleet Service / Maintenance experience highly desired.\nTransport experience within a Supply Chain / Logistics environment is essential. \nIT literate.\n\n
