**POSITION SUMMARY:** Republic Services is looking for an ambitious and capable Analyst to join our network of over 32,000 employees serving 14 million customers and over 2,700 communities across the United States.
The Fleet & Asset Management Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, streamlining, standardizing and documenting companywide back-of-the-house fleet maintenance support processes, system functionality and data management, and process training. The Analyst also establishes and monitors controls to ensure data quality, accuracy and integrity, and troubleshoots technical issues related to fleet systems, data, and programs enterprise-wide. This includes collaborating with IT, vendors, field users, Learning and Talent Development, and other Corporate departments.

**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Tests and evaluates any new software, software updates or enhancements, and Qlik metric reporting dashboards
+ Drives implementation of standardized processes and formulates, defines and implements system and business process improvements
+ Assists with data analysis activities and reporting in support of Fleet and Asset Management leadership
+ Maintains Republic’s alignment with the industry’s Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS), leading the standardization of repair VMRS codes, to create universal consistency and enable advanced Maintenance reporting
+ Provides end-user support for Field & Asset Management administration staff enterprise-wide with regard to Fleet & Asset Management reporting & system tools, including reviewing and approving fleet system user access requests
+ Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in fleet maintenance systems and processes to partner with Learning & Talent Development and the Business Intelligence teams in the creation and teaching of training modules for field employees
+ Develops quality training content and manages rollout of new or adjusted processes to the field
+ Supports ad hoc requests from Fleet & Asset Management leadership and other functional departments
+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ 2 years of experience in Fleet Maintenance, Operations, or related field preferred
+ Proven ability to analyze large data sets, specifically identifying themes, errors and inconsistencies
+ Proven ability to create and document efficient operations and systems processes
+ Experience with fleet, financial, and purchasing software systems
+ Experience with Master Data Management.
+ Ability to develop a deep understanding of current-state operational processes, pain points, and areas of opportunity by asking probing questions, engaging regularly, and actively listening
+ Results focused and time management skills, able to prioritize milestones, while leading internal and external resources to meet project goals
+ Strong MS Office Suite experience, specifically in MS Excel
+ SQL proficiency preferred but not required
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to present data in a meaningful way to audiences at all levels
+ Experience in continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices
+ Experience with Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS).

+ Intermediate proficiency with Excel

**SUSTAINABILITY INNOVATION**
Republic’s recent innovations to advance circularity and decarbonization demonstrate our unique ability to leverage sustainability as a platform for growth.
The Republic Services Polymer Center is the nation’s first integrated plastics recycling facility. This innovative site processes rigid plastics from our recycling centers, producing recycled materials that promote true bottle-to-bottle circularity. We also formed Blue Polymers, a joint venture with Ravago, to develop facilities that will further process plastic material from our Polymer Centers to help meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging. We are building a network of Polymer Centers and Blue Polymer facilities across North America.
We continue to advance decarbonization at our landfills. As demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we have 70 landfill gas-to-energy projects in operation and plan to expand our portfolio to 115 projects by 2028.
