**Fleet Asset Administrator**
**Position Overview**
The Fleet Asset Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting field operations by managing asset disposal, transfers, title processing, and maintaining accurate records.
The Fleet Asset Administrator will serve as a vital link between Waste Connections' third-party vendor and the accounting and field operations teams. This role will ensure smooth communication and coordination, facilitating efficient asset management and operational processes within the Fleet Maintenance Team.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Lead the disposal process of rolling stock assets through effective collaboration with field maintenance personnel, third-party, and management.
+ Collaboration with the accounting group on sale of asset payments and fixed asset database accuracy.
+ Work closely with regional maintenance managers to identify surplus assets that require transfer to other operating facilities or sale.
+ Maintaining the Maintenance Database system, moving assets to archive, ensuring data accuracy, and integrity of fleet data.
+ Asset title management for assets to be sold to third parties, checking for possible liens and missing titles from acquired companies.
+ Prepare and present regular fleet status reports to management.
+ Other Duties as required.

This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of working independently while supporting a diverse group of stakeholders. Experience in fleet operations or maintenance is preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills. A background in fleet operations or maintenance is preferred, however not a must. This role is essential for supporting the field with its asset management and for the organization's success.
