Fleet Administrator & Coordinator
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, update, and manage daily and long‑term vehicle/driver shift schedules to meet testing objectives.Conduct daily pre‑shift check‑ins with drivers to assess readiness, identify safety concerns, and support schedule or route adjustments as needed.Monitor daily weather and road conditions; proactively adjust routes and schedules to mitigate risk.Track, analyze, and report near‑miss incidents; identify trends and recommend route or process improvements to enhance safety.Lead weekly driver safety meetings and trip kick‑off meetings, including agenda creation and presentation development.Review in‑car camera footage to coach drivers on best‑in‑class safety practices; manage camera subscriptions, invoicing, and payments.Train new drivers on overall processes, safe driving behaviors, component cycles, and use of internal systems (Lscreen database / TEAMS) for shift data entry.Deliver ongoing safety training and continuously update training materials based on near‑miss data and field observations.Serve as a driving instructor for primary licensing of new drivers.Coordinate and book travel arrangements for drivers traveling to testing locations.Conduct route‑specific risk assessments and maintain route data using Ride With GPS.Manage and track testing hardware, including tablets, smartphones, cameras, and memory cards.Perform additional administrative and operational support tasks as required.Required SkillsCustomer service and driver supportTransportation, fleet, or dispatch coordinationStrong communication and phone etiquetteData entry and scheduling accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Dispatching and administrative support experienceAdditional QualificationsAssociate’s degree preferredValid driver’s license with a proven record of safe drivingAbility to model and instruct safe driving behaviorSuccessful completion of Toyota Middle Class License trainingPrior leadership experience or experience coordinating workloads for othersStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailClear verbal and written communication skillsExcellent presentation skills, including preparation of training and safety materials

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Saline, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
