Responsibilities Getting products our customers love on Store shelves is a big job, and our 11.9 million square feet of warehousing helps make that possible. Our Distribution Center and Transportation Partners are key to helping stock H-E-B Stores and keeping our supply chain moving all over Texas and Mexico. As a Fixtures and Equipment (F&E) Indirect Partner, you'll perform Warehouse support and clerical duties that keep our facilities operating and organized. Warehouse Operations: -Performs work tasks in a safe manner, in accordance with work instructions; proactively takes action to improve safety -Completes all assignments in an organized, clean, accurate and damage free manner -Completes work assignments in a timely manner; uses time efficiently and productively in support of facility goals for on-time release of trailers -Operates equipment per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to prevent equipment and facility damage -Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times -Performs all F&E Direct Partner duties -Inventory Clerk: Counts product; reviews inventory levels -Receiving Clerk: Verifies product id (UPC, pack, size, description) and quantity against purchase order Shipping Clerk: -Performs workload planning; works with Load Planning department to modify Store deliveries -Daily trailer count to ensure yard is accurate. -Open master cases; verifies correct purchase orders matches shipping/receiving order. -Corresponds with acquisitions to ensure proper purchase orders are received. Shelf Edge Depot Only: -Oversees receiving, processing, and tracking of all inbound fixtures deliveries, including those from Store remodels, closings, openings, perpetual clean-ups, fixture manufacturers, and vendors -Issues fixture order tickets as directed in the system; ensures accurate updating / completion of tickets and fixture items -Oversees Depot database system to create fixture issue tickets, fixture updates and input support; edits database as needed (price / description changes, new / discontinued items, etc.); runs reports / analyzes data to determine fixture availability, most-requested and slowest-moving parts -Processes repurposed fixtures according to Depot SOPs; inputs fixtures into database; determines fixtures to be refurbished; separates unusable fixture for transport to recycling center -Applies a general understanding of Store Shelf Edge Manager-related processes (project management, space management, inventory management) Stock Control Clerk: -Monitors loading activity; verifies completed orders are loaded as planned -Performs item / slot maintenance; ensures product is accurately stored. -Ensures warehouse inventory is accurate -Monitors / evaluates status of Forklift Operators, Stockers, and Order Selectors -Open master cases; verifies correct purchase orders. -Corresponds with acquisitions to ensure proper purchase orders are received. -Corresponds with logistics team to ensure proper inventory is shipped Shelf Edge Depot Only: -Serves as first point of contact for all customers and on all plan-o-gram issues -Acknowledges items on plan-o-gram issue log within one business day; responds to / closes Tier 1 support issues within one business day; responds clearly and concisely; appropriately escalates Tier 2 issues -Responds to internal customers (e.g., Shelf Edge, Merchandising, Store Partners, etc.) within a 24-48-hour timeline, as directed in Depot SOPs. Addresses priority tasks immediately -Applies basic understanding of who / how to escalate information and issue awareness -Spends a scheduled work week in a Store (at least once a year) to perform all Shelf Edge duties, interact with customers, and report back to Manager / share with team on findings and lessons learned -Maintains Depot warehouse and essential material handling equipment (MHE) to ensure optimal productivity on a daily basis -Proactively collaborates with other Partners to improve quality of work; seeks guidance / training from experienced Partners and leadership -Collaborates with inbound logistical teams (e.g., PDI, RGC), LTL, overnight, and long-haul vendors, and contractors to ensure deliveries are planned and ready for receiving -Communicates fixtures received, availability, and location to appropriate stakeholders -Creates / provides reporting (for team / Manager) on fixture issues, cost avoidance, refurbished fixtures, and dead stock Flow of Goods Specialist: -Coordinates all issues related to facility inventory integrity and product movement -Coordinates cycle counts -Performs daily and next day receiving audits to ensure inventory accuracy. -Interprets reports related to inventory control and items for special distribution -Safely operates all material handling equipment within the facility -Ensures completion of all inventory verification and monitoring / tracking processes -Ensures daily operational benchmarks are on track (on-time releases and receiving) -Handles all Transfer Requests from Acquisition Managers. -Ensures all incoming Purchase Orders at offsite facilities are accurate. -Does quarterly facility audits of inside and outside of the warehouse to look for structural damage. Shelf Edge Depot Only: -Responsible for the execution and shipping of all projects that reside at the Depot. Fixture list review and coordination of fixture selections are managed on an individual basis to ensure appropriate resources (labor, equipment and transportation) are assigned. Activities supported, but not limited to: Wall-To-Walls, Special Projects, New Store Projects and Store Requests. -Manages logistical needs for all outbound shipments; creates BOLs needed daily by using databases (i.e. LTL services, Small/Overnight package shipping services and H-E-B). Package/pallet labeling and communication with shipper is essential for daily pick up. -Assists Depot manager with upholding Depot policies and processes with all workers. Provides Depot manager additional administrative support with invoice payment approvals. -Attends project meetings as needed and provides key feedback for stakeholders as a subject matter expert -Communicates fixture shipments for all activities to appropriate stakeholders and sends alert notices for fixtures not available to meet set dates. -Provides support to Depot Inbound and Systems Lead partners as needed, able to run database and manage all inbound functions. -Supports Shelf Edge Space Team with data integrity feedback and solutions for fixture replacement, availability and distribution. What is your background? -High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) -2+ years of experience in Warehouse clerical, logistics, or WMS work Do you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Fixtures & Equipment Indirect Partner? -Comprehensive knowledge of H-E-B in-house systems -Working understanding of Warehouse shipping / receiving clerical functions -Advanced verbal / written communication skills -Strong PC skills, including MS Office -Strong math skills -Organization skills; attention to detail -Ability to work in a team-based environment -Ability to operate machines or equipment in a safe and independent manner Can you... -Lift up to 60 lbs repetitively, during your entire shift -Constantly stand, walk, squat -Constantly work in either a hot or extreme cold environment -Work extended shifts -Work fluctuating hours and days based on business needs, including weeks, nights, and holidays 11-2023
