The Team:  The S&P Global Fixed Income Pricing Team has responsibility for providing coverage, quality, and service across several pricing products.  The team provides support for pricing millions of instruments a day (internally and externally) while proactively enhancing the methodology for pricing Fixed Income securities. S&P Global’s services are used by institutions to help them monitor risk, mark-to-market, and develop accurate forecasting models. 

Responsibilities and Impact: This opening provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate with Fixed Income markets (Securitized Products, CDS, Loans, and Corporate Bonds preferred), and data management interests and experience.  We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented self-starter to help support the needs of our Americas client base and work with other team members around the globe. The position focuses on daily pricing responsibilities, as well as partnering across sales and technology teams to help in the development, automation, and quality control efforts to further S&P Global’s Fixed Income Pricing Services

Responsible for supporting and supervising the day-to-day running of S&P Global's Fixed Income Pricing businessWill be required to gain an in-depth product knowledge of S&P Global's pricing products and be able to speak effectively on them internally and externallyProvide exceptional client service by responding to client questions on pricing and methodology, and performing price challengesWill be required to build external relationships with clients in addition to receiving feedback, and acting on feedback from customers on our productsResponsible for daily evaluation in the form of assessing the quality of data provided and removing data sources that do not pass rigorous data quality checksAdjust daily pricing assumptions to reflect security performance in current market conditionsGenerate metrics and reports on the quality of pricing dataWill propose and help implement process improvements to realize enhanced quality and improve efficiency across S&P's pricing products.Work across the pricing products and the broader organization to effect change and identify opportunities to grow the business (special focus on sales and business development)

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base hourly wage for this position will be $30USD.

Working towards a Bachelor Degree in Financial Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related relevant field of study completed by May 2027Understanding of financial markets, knowledge of and exposure to Fixed Income productsProven analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlinesMust be proficient in ExcelKnowledge of SQL, VBA, and other programming languages advantageousStrong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with teams, senior members of the organization and clientsTeam player attitude is vital for the role. This includes giving and receiving constructive feedback, as well as a deadline-orientated approach to group projects
