QuidelOrtho is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Fixed Assets Accountant to join our growing EMEA Shared Services team in Prague!

What you'll be doing in your new role:

Global ownership of fixed assetsCreating assets in the ERP system (i.e. Instrument capitalizations), supplemental CAR creation, Updating the Internal Order Budget, Creating a Non-Capital Internal OrderDepreciation of assets, posting and depreciation analysis for all entities, Asset Transfers / Asset Disposals / Asset SalesFixed Asset Rollforwards – global template preparation and distribution, review all entities submissions for completeness and accuracy, compilation into the global RF, update of the cashflow and instrument informationFixed Asset Reconciliations, Fixed Asset Reporting  (Capital Spend Report, JB Depreciation Report,  Instrument depreciation by cost center, FA Disposal Report), Audit Requests

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The individual:

Required skills:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance preferredFluent in written and spoken EnglishProficiency in Excel

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in a multicultural environmentAccounting Certification (ACCA, CPA, Accounting Certificate, etc.)Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skillsStrong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of managementFluent in written and spoken additional European languageStrong organizational skills required to coordinate and manage across multiple organizations, processes and initiativesExperience working in a Global Shared Service CenterKnowledge of US GAAP and IFRS Reporting PrinciplesKnowledge of SAP S4Hana
