To be successful in this role you will need to:
Essential – to have a time-served apprenticeship and ideally with appropriate aero-engine fitting skills.Possess a working knowledge of aerospace strip and build procedures.Hold a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2, or equivalent.Be able to use aerospace fitting tools and techniques effectively.Demonstrate a proactive approach with a strong focus on quality and delivery.To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
