Fitness Design Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Fitness Design Specialist to support our growing Design & Development team. This role provides critical support across an expanding project pipeline by streamlining execution, improving documentation, and ensuring high-quality project delivery. You’ll work on a wide range of spaces and gain experience across the full project lifecycle—from early planning through equipment installation. Over time, you’ll develop the skills to lead your own design projects while working closely with senior project leads and cross-functional partners to keep projects moving efficiently and consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide design support for client refreshes and layout updates
+ Create and update project deliverables including equipment layouts, equipment decks, price estimates, and site surveys
+ Support senior project leads with project coordination, documentation, and deliverables
+ Manage equipment approvals in coordination with Supply Chain and equipment orders
+ Gather and analyze internal data and industry research to identify trends, evaluate equipment, and inform design decisions
+ Distribute and track post-installation and Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys with site teams and clients
+ Maintain and update internal tools and resources, including equipment decks, education materials, CAD symbols, and presentation templates
+ Coordinate site surveys, attend select site walks, and support installations as needed
+ Assist with sales presentations and participate in client site walks when required
+ Up to 10% Travel required
Qualifications:
+ Experience within the fitness industry (coaching, operations, management, or related roles)
+ Strong computer skills and comfort working across multiple digital tools and platforms
+ Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
+ Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
+ Proven ability to track project tasks, deliverables, and timelines
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate cross-functionally
+ Genuine interest in fitness, wellness, and human performance
+ Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and/or 3D rendering tools is a plus (not required)
+ Preferred location: East Coast
Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 - $90,000/year. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including location and experience as well as other business needs.
