The Fitness Assistant is responsible for supporting members during their use of the fitness facilities and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This role focuses on providing assistance to members as needed, maintaining cleanliness of the equipment and spaces, and helping to uphold the club’s service standards. Specific Responsibilities: Warmly greet members and ensure their needs are met with discretion, professionalism, and courtesy. Maintain a strong presence on the fitness floor, offering assistance with equipment, amenities, or general inquiries. Uphold the cleanliness and presentation of all fitness areas, including equipment, studios, locker rooms, and common spaces. Regularly sanitize equipment and refresh towels, water stations, and amenities to ensure a pristine environment at all times. Proactively identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns to management. Support fitness trainers and wellness staff with class preparation, member engagement, and event setups. Anticipate member needs to create a seamless and enjoyable experience in line with luxury hospitality standards. Assist with scheduling, reservations, or concierge-style requests related to the fitness and wellness program. Qualifications Qualifications: Previous experience in a luxury hospitality, spa, or fitness environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and passion for cleanliness and presentation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine service-oriented mindset. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-expectation environment. CPR/AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate maintenance needs and court usage schedules. Must be able stand for extended periods of time, with the ability to lift to 25lbs.
