Seeking a Transport Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. .

\n

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nTo directly assist Management by coordinating and generating the shipping requirements for distribution routes, from warehouse to end-user, maintaining precise and up-to-date reports\nTo supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence\nTo track and trace shipping orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nPrevious and practical experience as a Transport Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment\nPrevious experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders\nComputer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages ( Microlise) \nExcellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports\nExperience in Working time directive\nOk to to work 12 hrs shifts 8:00 -20:00 (4 On 4 Off)\nExperience and knowledge in Working time directive\nTransport Experence Essential \n\n
