DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a First Line Manager - Stock Control to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nTo plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of a team, providing effective delegation, communication, leadership, motivation, training and development\nManage daily operational functions and directly undertake such functions as required\nEnsure cycle counts are carried out to meet contractual requirements\nDaily team briefing to include customer news, site news and review of next weeks forecasts\nRecommend and where possible, implement operational process improvements\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nGood knowledge of warehouse functions and WMS\nGood organisation, communication and planning skills\nGood understanding of H&S requirements\nResults orientated with a can do attitude\n\n

A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well-received.
