Job Title: Medical Representative (Phoenix, AZ)Job Description

Join our team as an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our workforce. Our Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team is dedicated to creating a safe environment, and you will be integral in achieving this goal. In collaboration with WHS site managers, specialists, and occasionally the Injury Prevention Specialist, you will provide essential support to our associates.

ResponsibilitiesProvide first aid support and refer associates to outside medical providers as necessary.Minimize the risk of injury through education and proactive engagement.Maintain records of care provided to associates.Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work programs for work-related injuries.Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.Engage with associates and leadership to coach on safe work habits.Maintain a clean working environment and ensure medical supply inventory is well-stocked.Participate in training and certification to facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED classes.Maintain all first aid, CPR, and AED credentials.Work flexible shifts, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist with emergency response at the site.
Essential SkillsHigh School or equivalent diploma.Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved emergency cardiac care provider.Current valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).Experience in the military as a Combat Medic, Field Medic, Healthcare Specialist, Hospital Corpsman, or Aerospace Medical Service Technician.Current active Athletic Trainer Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent State Certification.
Additional Skills & QualificationsCertified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Experience with an industrial wellness program.Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics.Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations and Workers Compensation.Proficient in digital record keeping.
Work Environment

The position requires working in a dynamic environment where you will assist with all first aid needs and support safety operations. You will work flexible shifts, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends, to ensure continuous support for our associates. The role involves engaging with associates on the operations floor to promote safe work habits, ensuring a clean and well-stocked medical environment, and being prepared to assist in emergency situations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
