Job Description Insight Global is looking for an embedded software engineer in St. Petersburg, FL. This person will be responsible for unit and integration testing of software code. Day to day responsibilities include inputting software code into a specific framework for testing to verify the code is operating properly. The firmware development is already established. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science. - 7+ years experience in embedded software development and/or testing - 2+ years experience with a unit test framework (Vectorcast, google test or Cppunit) - Regulated industry experience (medical device, automotive, aerospace) - Python Scripting • Software Planning, Requirements, Architecture, Design, Implementation, and Integration • Medical Device Design Experience with FDA and IEC62304 processes • Agile Methodology
