ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Perform validation and functional testing for product BIOS, BMC, and ROT firmware and software to ensure product reliability and stability.Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive test cases based on product specifications and features.Plan and execute manual and automated test strategies throughout the development cycle.Design and implement automation for test cases and test frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and QA to drive issue resolution and ensure high-quality deliverables.Participate in product validation for various server platforms, including rack, tower, storage, AI/compute, and networking servers.

Management & Supervisory Responsibilities

Good and positive self-management.Independently plan, prioritize, and manage daily tasks to meet project milestones and deliverables.

Required Job Competencies:

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Knowledge of BMC and BIOS FW testing or engineering.Test case certation and maintain.Good understanding and concept of test automation.Ability to setup test environment, basic components knowledge. Cross team communication skills required.Experienced with key issue report systems is a plus (ie. Bugzilla, Jira).Experience in Python Automation Framework is a plus (ie. RobotFramework/Pytest)Experience in REST API (Redfish) and IPMI is a plus.Experience with GitLab/GitHub is a plusExperience with Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or other DevOps tools is a plus

Education and Experience Requirements

- More than 3+ years of SYSTEM FW BIOS / BMC / Redfish relative functional module testing or automation experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- With FW BMC or BIOS FW test experience required
- With Server or Embedded product experience preferred
- Familiar with BMC testing experience preferred
