The Role

We’re seeking a skilled Fire Wet Systems Technician to join our Adelaide team. You’ll provide service, maintenance, and installation of wet fire systems and associated firefighting equipment in line with AS1851-2012. This mobile role covers a diverse range of client sites across healthcare, aviation, retail, and government, ensuring assets remain safe, compliant, and reliable.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain, install, and service all wet fire systems and firefighting equipment
• Conduct inspections, testing, and servicing of wet fire assets to AS1851-2012
• Perform alterations to existing wet fire systems as required
• Prepare accurate customer quotations and identify remedial work
• Provide technical advice to clients and technicians where needed
• Support with inspections and servicing of portable fire equipment (as required)
• Complete rectification notes and compliance records via BGIS systems
• Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants

 

Your Education, Experience & Skills

• Certificate III in Fire Protection (Sprinkler Fitter) or equivalent (mandatory)
• White Card (mandatory)
• Proven experience servicing, maintaining, and installing wet fire systems
• Strong knowledge of AS1851 and AS2118 standards (essential)
• Ability to prepare quotes, identify remedial works, and liaise with clients
• Excellent stakeholder communication and customer service skills
• Full working rights in Australia (essential)
