Our **Smart Buildings** help to create efficient, safe, adaptable, and responsible environments. Our goal is to turn building data into intelligence that yield building owners and service teams with informed recommendations to improve building performance. We strive to reduce energy usage and improve HVAC equipment and system reliability.
**We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Fire Safety Software Engineering Internship. This position will be based at our Parsippany, New Jersey office location.**
**Internship Program Start Dates:** May 18, June 1, June 8, and June 15, 2026.
**You’ll make an impact by:**
+ Supporting software development activities aligned with strategic business and product goals.
+ Analyzing and interpreting software requirements through detailed technical documentation.
+ Estimating, planning, and managing time for assigned software development tasks.
+ Designing and executing test plans for software components to ensure quality and performance.
+ Presenting project progress and results to technical stakeholders.
+ Supporting software quality standards and contributing to globally deployed software solutions.

**You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026.
+ Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 10 - 12 week summer internship.
+ Knowledge of one or more programming languages, including Python, C++, C#, HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
+ Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Parsippany, NJ, as this role does not provide relocation support.
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with software testing and quality assurance through coursework or prior internships.
+ Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
