We strive to reduce energy usage and improve HVAC equipment and system reliability. **We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Fire Safety Software Engineering Internship. This position will be based at our Parsippany, New Jersey office location.** **Internship Program Start Dates:** May 18, June 1, June 8, and June 15, 2026. **You’ll make an impact by:** + Supporting software development activities aligned with strategic business and product goals. + Analyzing and interpreting software requirements through detailed technical documentation. + Estimating, planning, and managing time for assigned software development tasks. + Designing and executing test plans for software components to ensure quality and performance. + Presenting project progress and results to technical stakeholders. + Supporting software quality standards and contributing to globally deployed software solutions. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026. + Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 10 - 12 week summer internship. + Knowledge of one or more programming languages, including Python, C++, C#, HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript. + Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Parsippany, NJ, as this role does not provide relocation support. + Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with software testing and quality assurance through coursework or prior internships. + Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences. **About Siemens:** We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
