Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Electrician to join our fire alarm systems team as a technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage electrical systems, with a primary focus on fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and other low voltage systems, such as security and access control.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Pull, terminate, and label low voltage wiring and cabling.Program and configure fire alarm control panels and related devices.Perform inspections to ensure compliance with local codes.Troubleshoot and repair system faults and malfunctions.Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades on job sites.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience in low voltage electrical work, preferably in fire alarm systems.Working knowledge of codes.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to provide own tools.Specific industry training can assist with a higher pay rate.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.Capable of working in various environmental conditions, both indoor and outdoor.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract-to-hire position based out of Savannah, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
