We are Canteen.   Job Summary The Financial Specialist is responsible for supporting financial operations by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies. This role plays a critical part in budgeting, forecasting, and assisting with financial decision-making to support the organization’s financial health. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and reports. + Assist in developing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. + Monitor actual financial performance against budget and highlight variances. + Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial documents with laws, regulations, and internal policies. + Reconcile accounts and perform regular audits to ensure data integrity. + Collaborate with departments to gather financial data and support operational goals. + Support month-end and year-end close processes. + Assist with tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting. + Recommend improvements to financial processes and systems. + Provide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business cases. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred. + 2–5 years of experience in a finance-related role. + Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and reporting. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
