The opportunity 

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the implementation, configuration and enhancement of the Charles River Development (CRD) optimizing front-to-back investment processes and driving operational excellence. The role requires strong functional understanding of asset management operations and hands-on experience with CRD modules.

 

Your key responsibilities 

Act as a subject matter expert on Charles River Development (CRD) functionality across trading, compliance, portfolio management, and post-trade workflows commonly used by asset managers Partner with portfolio managers, traders, compliance and operations to gather and document business requirements Configure CRD components (workflows, compliance rules, blotters, manager workbench etc.) Translate business requirements into detailed CRD configurations, workflows and rules Perform system analysis, data mapping, and testing for CRD integrations with upstream/downstream systems including IBOR, reference data, pricing feeds, risk, and accounting systems Use CRD SDK and APIs to support data exchanges and integration enhancements Support SaaS migration, including transition from on-premise environments to cloud-hosted solutions Collaborate cross-functionally with technology, data, and operations teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and system capabilities Support enhancements, bug fixes, and upgrades to the CRD platform Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and design discussions with global stakeholders to communicate functional requirements and validate proposed solution Lead functional testing, UAT coordination, and documentation of solution design Work closely with data governance and architecture teams to ensure data integrity across CRD, IBOR, and downstream systems

 

Skills and attributes for success

Team with client technology professionals, and/or third-party strategic alliances to provide implementation of technology solution.

 

To qualify for the role you must have

A bachelor's degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 2-3 years of related work experience Your degree should be in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred 2-3 years of experience working at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company Experience working in a Hedge Fund, Asset Management company or as a Management Consultant in one of these companies 3 years of hands-on Charles River (CRD/CRIMS) experience Strong SQL and data analysis skills for validating CRD data flows Demonstrated experience supporting SaaS migrations, including transition from on-premise environments to cloud-hosted solutions Demonstrated ability to partner with a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, development, implementation, conversion and testing Strong communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills Comfortable researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies Strong experience in executing all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven project management and testing methodologies It is essential that the successful candidate possess a deep knowledge of technical architecture design and have a good understanding of technology tools and components to reasonably argue for and against all components (middleware, database, reporting tools, etc.) in financial systems architecture Willingness and ability to travel, candidate must have a passport and a valid drivers license

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,500 to $187,900.  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,900 to $213,400.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
