Financial Service Delivery Managerwill lead VAT compliance and Transfer Pricing processes, including onboarding new activities into the SSC and driving continuous improvements. You’ll manage and develop a specialist team, ensure global tax compliance, support tax-efficient business decisions, and proactively mitigate tax risk in line with commercial goals.
Your Responsibilities
VAT process:
+ Manage VAT compliance processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions of VAT returns, EC Sales Lists (ECSL), and Intrastat reporting.
+ Oversee the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring an appropriate allocation of tasks, clear priorities, and high-quality VAT reporting.
+ Stay up to date with VAT regulations and ensure company practices in terms of VAT reporting are in line with legal requirements.
+ Work within cross-functional teams on operational improvement and simplification projects to ensure accurate VAT compliance and optimization.
+ Identify key risk areas requiring updates to regional VAT reporting process and lead in the development and maintenance of the appropriate documents.
+ Collaborate with the Tax team and Financial Service Managers to streamline VAT reporting processes.
+ Support Financial Service Managers during tax authority audits, as needed.
+ Lead onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring they are familiar with VAT reporting processes and local procedures.
+ Regularly assess team needs (skills, processes, tools) and initiate improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of VAT reporting.
Tansfer Pricing:
+ Manage Transfer Pricing process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation.
+ Set priorities and deadlines; coordinate work for larger projects and tax filing deadlines.
+ Develop and manage client relationships by understanding their business and expectations and providing clear insights and proactive guidance (FSMs).
+ Identifying opportunities for scope extension for transfer pricing and/or other specialized services.
+ Support Financial Service Managers during tax authority audits, as needed.
Other:
+ Identify improvement opportunities and drive implementation (compliance, quality, process efficiency).
+ Drive engagement, empowerment, and motivation within the team.
+ Leading the transition and transformation of local business processes from country to ESSC.
+ Providing high quality internal and external customer service.
+ Reporting KPI’s to Shared Service Management and internal clients.
Who we are looking for
We’re hiring a strong Tax Leader (VAT-focused) to drive compliance and optimization across multiple countries and lead a high-performing team.
+ Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Law (or similar)
+ 5–8+ years in indirect and/or corporate tax, with deep VAT expertise
+ 4+ years leading and developing teams
+ English language (min. B2/C1), other languages skills will be an advantage
+ Experience in an SSC environment is a strong advantage
+ Hands-on leadership of multi-jurisdiction VAT compliance, audits, and TP documentation
+ Solid understanding of EU tax rules, transfer pricing guidelines, and local regulations
+ Ability to turn complex legislation into clear, practical business guidance
+ Strong analytical mindset, risk awareness, and ability to deliver under deadlines
+ Strategic approach to VAT optimization and confident stakeholder management with advisors/authorities
