Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Financial Reporting Analyst to support both our General Ledger Accounting and SEC Reporting teams. This hybrid role offers exposure to external financial reporting, and general accounting, providing a strong foundation for career growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

SEC Reporting and External Filings:

Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K. Develop and maintain supporting documentation for external reports. Perform data validation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of filings. Support Investor Relations with earnings materials and related disclosures. Contribute to the preparation of statutory filings and benefit plan reports. Complete government surveys required by federal, state, and local agencies.

General Ledger Accounting:

Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules. Reconcile general ledger and sub-ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies. Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Maintain and enhance financial systems and reporting tools.

Cross-Functional and Project Work:

Manage the internal support request list process end-to-end and provide support to auditors. Perform ad-hoc research and analysis for management. Support accounting projects and initiatives across teams. Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy. Stay current on evolving accounting standards and trends impacting financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in accounting. CPA Certification preferred (or currently working towards). 1+ years of relevant experience in public accounting preferred. Strong foundation in accounting principles and U.S. GAAP, with the ability to apply concepts in practice. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Workiva). Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Schedule: This role will be a hybrid split, requiring a minimum of 4 days in the office
