**Summary:**
Detailed-oriented accounting professional responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements and assisting in the timely submission of financial data to the corporate office on a monthly basis. Performs and reviews journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process. Supports audit activities, including preparation of the annual 401(k) statements. Additionally, prepares financial statements and related materials for presentation to the Board of Directors, providing accurate and insightful financial information.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with company policies and IFRS accounting standards
+ Submit financial data to the corporate office via Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Perform reconciliations and validations of data between locally prepared HFM and the corporate office ensuring consistency.
+ Assist with month-end and quarter-end financial close activities to ensure completeness and accuracy
+ Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
+ Prepare supporting documentation and schedules for internal and external audits, including the annual 401(k) audit.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely receipt of financial schedules and supporting documentation required for reporting and close activities.
**Qualifications:**
+ Requires a Bachelor’s degree, with a degree in accounting or finance preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years finance or accounting analysis and/or comparable analytical experience.
+ Three or more years of P & C experience preferred.
+ A thorough knowledge of IFRS consolidations and financial reporting.
+ This position requires the ability to work independently with little supervision. The ability to work directly with Senior Management is essential.
+ Ability to collaborate, critical thinking and problem solving are also critical attributes for this position. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas), Word and PowerPoint; SAP experience preferred.
