Financial Planning Support Specialist
Job Description The Financial Planning Support Specialist will report directly to the Director of Financial Planning Analytics & Experience. You will be the primary SME and field- facing consultant on all aspects of the First Command financial planning software. You will be responsible for: - Respond to incoming questions and requests from Financial Advisors, support staff, and business partners - Assist advisors and support staff in financial plan entry, including data interpretation, plan construction, and deliverables - Assist advisors and support staff in troubleshooting, identifying, and correcting errors, and understanding results. - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of financial planning concepts, especially those relevant to the target market - Contribute to the creation of training content based on experience with variety of support request - Collaborate closely with BIS to report/resolve issues, test new releases, and to support other projects as needed - Cultivate a connected understanding of how technology touching the financial planning experience impacts the work of the department, and contribute to decision-making in a larger context of FinTech (Financial Technologies) - Develop and maintain deep expertise on financial planning software tools and related FinTech - Coordinate with other home office teams as needed to resolve advisor support requests We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
