Financial Planning Analyst
Job Title: Financial Analyst, Financial Planning Description The Financial Analyst, Financial Planning will assist in the preparation and consolidation of timely and accurate monthly forecasts, budgets and strategic plan for their current and upcoming projects. Weekly break down or roles and responsibilties : Week 1) Review actutal vs forecast Week 2) Refresh full year forecast Week3) Prepare all files for the followig month end Week 4) Adhoc work such as government grant claims, S&ED claims, annual rate packages etc • Prepares monthly cash flow forecast • Prepares quarterly forecast for overhead and monthly reports to explain variances vs actuals • Supports SR&ED filings, quarterly forecasts and audits • Performs capital planning management and monthly CAPEX forecasting/monitoring • Prepares yearly budget for Cash flow, OH, SR&ED and Capital Expenditures • Supports Strategic plans • Performs ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling as required Skills Forecasting,financial planning and analysis,Budgeting Additional Skills & Qualifications Bac in Accounting CPA designation Bilingual in French and English Experience in financial planning forecasting, budget and P&L IFRS, SRED, CAPEX, Cost Management Job Description The Financial Analyst, Financial Planning will assist in the preparation and consolidation of timely and accurate monthly forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans for current and upcoming projects. Responsibilities + Review actual vs forecast data in Week 1. + Refresh the full year forecast in Week 2. + Prepare all files for the following month-end in Week 3. + Perform ad-hoc work such as government grant claims, SR&ED claims, and annual rate packages in Week 4. + Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts. + Prepare quarterly forecasts for overhead and monthly reports to explain variances vs actuals. + Support SR&ED filings, quarterly forecasts, and audits. + Perform capital planning management and monthly CAPEX forecasting/monitoring. + Prepare yearly budget for cash flow, overhead, SR&ED, and capital expenditures. + Support strategic plans. + Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling as required. Essential Skills + Experience with forecasting, financial planning, and analysis. + Proficiency in budgeting. + Knowledge of IFRS. + Experience with reviewing and analyzing actual vs forecast data. + Costing and variance analysis expertise. + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, and graphs). + Strong English speaking skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with SR&ED filings and government grant claims. + Knowledge of revenue recognition documentation. + Experience with CAPEX. + Bilingual in French and English. + Bachelor's degree in Accounting. + CPA designation. + Experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management. + Proficiency in IFRS, SR&ED, CAPEX, and cost management. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $55.00/hr. Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue,QC.
