Description We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team in Oxnard, California. This role involves analyzing complex financial data, developing strategic insights, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities while delivering critical analysis and recommendations.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed variance analysis, assessing customer and product profitability, group-level profit and loss, spending patterns, and performance metrics.
• Manage revenue forecasts, budgets, and cost pools, including labor, material, and other resources, while contributing to bid proposals and compliance evaluations.
• Oversee the month-end financial close process, generating reports, analyses, and presentations to inform decision-making.
• Lead the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, creating templates and processes to gather inputs and establish measurable assumptions.
• Collaborate with sales and operational teams to provide financial insights that enhance business performance.
• Support internal reviews, including weekly, monthly, and annual evaluations with key stakeholders.
• Monitor working capital by analyzing inventory cycles, conducting physical inventories, and reporting variances to leadership.
• Perform comprehensive sales, margin, and customer pull-rate analyses to inform strategic decisions.
• Recommend improvements to financial reporting processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in reporting financial results to corporate finance teams and handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed. Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, or 3 years with a master’s degree.
• Prior experience in Big 4 public accounting (audit, assurance, or consulting) is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and time zones.
• Exceptional communication skills, including proficiency in written, verbal, and presentation formats.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced skills in financial planning, modeling, and analysis, including proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel.
