Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join the Systems, Data and Reporting team within of our Shared Services Centre, in Bucharest, Romania

The successful candidate will provide support in the analysis of management information, including the design and creation of dashboard visualizations for leadership discussions. This will include sourcing data from numerous finance and accounting systems to create automated and standardized reports. Also will be responsible for providing financial systems support and reporting financial and operational performance metrics, supporting the delivery of key initiatives and communicating monthly business results against agreed performance targets to the Finance team.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain complex financial models particularly to support the annual planning processSupport the monthly forecasting processProduce and deliver accurate reporting in line with weekly and monthly requirements of the businessDevelop and standardize reports and Dashboards using Excel and other reporting and analytical tools and ensure these can be produced and published in a timely and efficient manner, automating processes where possibleAssisting in preparing analysis and presentation material for the monthly and quarterly financial and operational review meetingsDevelop reports for key strategic initiativesPerform ad-hoc strategic and financial analyses and research assignments

QualificationsPart qualified Accountant or qualified Financial Analyst or demonstrated equivalent with a minimum of 4 years’ work experience in a multi-national companyHigh proficiency in Excel; knowledge of IBM Cognos & PowerBI; experience of extracting large data sets from ERP systems and manipulating, using advanced excel tools, such as power query, or coding such as python could be beneficialAbility to demonstrate a sound knowledge & understanding of the various Finance functions, and the support & guidance they provide to a businessExcellent oral \ written communications skills (in English) - comfortable working with candidates at all levels and building stakeholder relationships internally; Professional and diligent with excellent attention to detailTeam player, with a proactive self-starter approach and proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data, including financial statements and key financial ratiosAbility to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgencyConsultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skillsProactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively
