Financial Manager Shared Service Office Southern Cone

This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical business partner that manages all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As a Financial Manager on the Southern Cone Office reporting to Director CALA Finance Shared Services, you will focus on supervising the finance shared services team to ensure efficient financial and administrative processes, all reconciliations, taxes, accounts payable and payroll are prepared properly, prepared information for external and internal auditors maintaining an adequate internal control over revenues, expenses, and liabilities of the hotel according to local regulations and Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

\n

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

\n

What your day-to-day will be like:

\n\nSupervise the Shared Services team in the Southern Cone\nActively participate in management meetings and events related to hotels and corporate\nEnsure that all the hotel balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and approved on time in Blackline or the system in use at the moment\nEnsure all issues are escalated, correct and BS reconciliations do not have any unreconciled lines or open issues for more than 60 days\n\n

How you will collaborate with others:

\n\nAssist and counsel General Managers and Directors of Finance in the interpretation and registration of financial data and recommend courses of actions to maximize profitability\nAssist Director CALA Finance Shared Services in all jobs and duties related to the Southern Cone region\n\n

What Projects you will take ownership of:

\n\nVISMA: end implementation in Argentina and Uruguay, improving and aligning processes from Finance and HR\nCredit Card Reconciliations: set up and customize reconciling software to improve current processes\n\n

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

\n\nTwo (2) years of work experience in Hospitality or Global Business Services industry\nFinance, Administration or Accounting degree\nExcellent oral and writing skills in English\nTravel up to 10% to hotels in Argentina and Uruguay\n\n

It would be useful if you have:

\n\nExperience in analyzing financial data\nAdvance knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Office 360 and Sun Systems\n\n\n\n
