About the Role
This role focuses on IU Health’s major fixed asset investments and leasing strategies, serving as a key advisor on high-value projects and complex lease arrangements. The Financial Management Advisor partners with executive leadership and external stakeholders to ensure financial alignment, while driving process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and controls. This position plays a critical role in strengthening financial governance and risk management across high-impact initiatives.
The Financial Management Advisor is a highly skilled professional who analyzes complex financial data to improve operations and provides expert guidance in key financial areas. They advise business units on financial performance and decision impacts, working closely with executive leadership to align financial objectives, risk tolerance, and assets. The role involves coordinating with the financial team to deliver actionable reports and analyses—such as forecasts and pro formas—supporting strategic and operational decisions. They analyze diverse data sets, including financial, operational, and clinical information, to inform recommendations for senior management. Additionally, they conduct detailed analysis projects, develop economic forecasts, and offer technical support, primarily functioning as an individual contributor.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree is required.
· Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
· Degree in Finance or related field a plus.
· Relevant experience considered is financial or operational analysis.
· Requires analytical experience working with complex data sets.
· Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products/applications; strong Microsoft Excel experience required; relational database and financial or operational modeling experience a plus.
