Financial Escalations Specialist - $25/hr

Position Overview:
We are currently hiring Complaints/Escalation Specialists to join our team on a 12-month contract assignment. This role is part of the Complaints Department, handling escalated issues across various banking products including credit cards, checking accounts, and business services. Candidates must be comfortable working in a contract role, with potential for extension or early completion based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage escalated complaints from intake through resolution.
+ Communicate directly with customers to understand and resolve issues.
+ Conduct research and collaborate with internal business units.
+ Document, track, and resolve complaints using a web-based tool.
+ Handle 5–10 active cases simultaneously, managing various statuses and deadlines.
+ Review complaints for regulatory and non-regulatory flags and classify risks appropriately.
+ Respond independently to high-level escalations.
+ Support internal and external customers with inquiries and complaints.
+ Perform complex administrative and customer support tasks.
Typical Day:
+ Review and manage complaints in a work queue.
+ Engage with customers via phone and email.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and resolve issues.
+ Use MS Office Suite and internal systems to document and track progress.
+ Navigate multiple complaints at different stages while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications: MUST HAVES
+ 4+ years of customer contact experience in Financial Services in roles such as:
+ Senior Customer Service
+ Underwriting
+ Loan/Mortgage Processing
+ Research
+ Quality Assurance
+ Strong verbal communication and de-escalation skills (expect 5+ high-level escalation calls/day).
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
+ Strong pipeline and time management abilities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
