Job Summary:

The Financial Crime Manager role reports to PayPal Europe’s Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer and will primarily focus on the oversight of the FLOD program execution, ensuring the program is executed as per PPEU’s SLOD policy framework and the Luxembourg regulatory expectations. In close collaboration with the Global SLOD and FLOD teams, he/she will support the enhancement of those oversight capabilities in a growing outsourcing framework.

PayPal Europe is seeking a driven, innovative, and experiencedFinancial Crime Managerto join our

vibrant Financial Crime Compliance team in Luxembourg.

This role reports to PayPal Europe’s Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer and is expected to

be an active partner and key player within the company. The role will support the AML/CTF

program in a fast-paced environment across many functional groups with exceptional

communication skills and proven ability to balance multiple projects and priorities.

TheFinancial Crime Managerwill primarily focus on the oversight of the FLOD program execution,

ensuring the program is executed as per PPEU’s SLOD policy framework and the Luxembourg

regulatory expectations. In close collaboration with the Global SLOD and FLOD teams, the Financial

Crime Manager will support the enhancement of those oversight capabilitiesin a growing

outsourcingframework.

Main Core Duties and Key Strategic Objectives

Support the creation and implementation of an oversight framework for the

delegated/outsourced duties;

Enable sustainable growth of PayPal business by facilitating new products/business AML

assessment processes, including post launch monitoring;

Partner closely with Affiliate Services team to monitor/understand SLA metrics and to

address any deviance as necessary;

Coordinate & review enhancements and updates in relevant Policies, SOPs and guidelines;

Oversee the development and maintenance of KRI / KPI metrics to ensure effective tracking

and support of program performance and Service Levels;

Contribute to PayPal’s Issue Management Program, including the tracking of Internal Audit

observations and remediation testing;

Actively maintain an up-to-date understanding of the requirements of applicable legislation

and any other relevant guidance related to Financial Crime for the region(s) in scope;

Support on AML/CTF related regulatory duties and requests, including exam requests.

Soft Skills

You have relevant knowledge and years of experience in the Financial Crime/Compliance

space;

You possess good oral and written communication skills in English, French/German is a plus;

You have the ability to partner effectively at multiple levels and across disciplines;

You can prioritize work, multi-tasks effortlessly, meet deadlines, and achieve goals;

You work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic, complex and regulatory changing

environment;
