Temp-to-Hire position$17.93 to $24.66 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Responsible for analyzing patient’s financial status and determining eligibility for insurance enrollment and/or financial assistance programs.Responds to telephone and written inquiries related to patient accounts.Assists patients with questions and concerns, explains charges and responds to other related inquiries.Collects accurate payment amounts and posts payments in the appropriate system.Reviews program guidelines and assists patients or responsible individuals with financial assistance applications.Consistently reviews past due bills and follow-up documentationAssists in enrollment of qualifying patients in AHCCCS and/or other insurance programsFinancial Counselor Qualifications:
1yr. of hospital or clinic insurance billing or collection experienceBasic knowledge and understanding of State Medicaid programProficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
