Based in Geneva, Eli Lilly Export SA is dedicated to commercial and external manufacturing activities across various regions. The financial controlling team in Geneva focuses on judgmental areas and risks, ensuring compliance and accuracy of the financial statements for the eight Geneva-based entities, which collectively generate over $10 billion in revenue. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **FINANCIAL CONTROLLING TRAINEE** for a one-year internship. **Responsibilities & Tasks:** The Financial Controlling Trainee will support the Controlling team in maintaining accuracy of the Trial Balances and compliance of the Geneva SOx controls. In addition, and with guidance from the supervisor, the trainee will collaborate closely with relevant Global and automation teams to help improve the different processes impacting the Controlling activities in Geneva. **Financial Controlling trainee:** + Develops a good knowledge of USGAAP accounting and SOx compliance + Participates in month-end closing meetings + Provides supports during internal and external audits + Understands specificities of an Export pharmaceutical affiliate engaging with diverse teams and activities **Qualifications:** + Master’s degree in accounting and/or Audit, with a strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry. + Fluency in English and/or French. + Rigorous, analytical, solution-oriented, and problem-solving mindset. + Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment. **Location:** Geneva - Contract subject to a valid work permit in Switzerland.
