The Financial Controlling Analyst supports financial controlling activities, including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and period-end processes. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate financial information and supports decision-making through analysis and reporting.

 

Your day-to-dayEnsure timely and accurate data input into Tagetik and GMRB systems during Actual, Rolling Forecast, and Budget reporting cycles.Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports (Actuals, Rolling Forecast, and Budget), ensuring accurate and business-relevant commentary.Review and validate period-end accruals for PO and non-PO expenses based on defined criteria and post manual accruals when required.Assist in the preparation of financial scenarios and simulations to support business decision-making and address stakeholder needs.Prepare financial analyses and support internal and external audit requirements, including SOX controls, by coordinating with auditors and internal teams.Monitor and analyze variances, escalate material issues, and propose corrective actions where necessary.Participating in global and local projects focused on process improvement and simplification, contributing to the implementation of new ways of working.

 

 What you need to haveA self-driven professional with university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent1-3 years of relevant experience in an international companyAbility to communicate in English, both written and verbalBasic understanding of financial controlling, reporting, and accounting principlesStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work with financial systems and Excel; experience with Tagetik is an advantageGood communication & presentation skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsProactive mindset with willingness to learn and support continuous improvement initiativesAdvanced knowledge in Excel, GMRB and SAP
