HUGO BOSS is looking for a Financial Controller Iberia; an analyst for the company's finance department to join the team, based in our Lisbon offices. 

\n

Schedule:

\n\nMonday to Thursday: 9:00 - 18:30 (1-hour lunch break)\nFriday: 9:00 - 16:00 (1-hour break)\n\n

 

 

What you can expect:

The hired person will support the company's finance department in Portugal as a Financial Controller for Iberia (Spain & Portugal).

\n

Main functions:

\n\nSupport to the company's Financial Director in terms of control analysis and planning.\nStrong link with the Controlling team within the HUB, supporting common projects.\nMonth-end activities, such as Cycles, Allocations, etc.\nAnalysis of monthly closures and comparison with planning.\nAnalysis of cost development and deviations.\nMonitoring of performance indicators and development of business models.\nSetting up dashboards and reports required by Local Management and HUB management in relation to HB Portugal and HB Spain.\nPreparation of Retail / Wholesale projects (profitability analysis).\nPreparation of the annual forecast and subsequent reviews, together with Business Areas and all company departments, as well as system planning.\n

 

Your profile:

\nDegree in Business Administration or higher degree in Financial Management; Similar.\nMaster's degree in Corporate Finance or Accounting, Management Control, or Management Engineering.\nExperience in the standard FP&A cycles of a structured company (Minimun 4 years);\nKnowledge of the premium Retail market, omnichannel experience (is a plus).\nStrong financial background and full understanding of a company's financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow);\nKnowledge of accounting standards (IFRS is a plus).\nAnalytical mindset and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to understand the business and explain the story unfolding behind the financial numbers.\nProven ability to develop and maintain financial forecasting models and variance analysis.\nAbility to summarize key information to facilitate and support the financial decision-making process.\nStrong interpersonal skills, able to interact at a higher level within the organization (HUB and HQ).\nStructured, focused on process management.\nAbility to create a high level of cooperation with other departments within the organization.\nHigh proficiency in Excel (formulas, integrated tables, pivot tables, charts, macros, analysis).\nHigh proficiency in PowerPoint or other presentation software.\nKnowledge of Power BI and other analytical tools is a plus.\nValued knowledge in the SAP environment to support financial analysis.\nIntegrated use of AI tools.\nHigh proficiency in English.\nValued knowledge of Spanish or French.\nPosition based in Lisbon, proficiency in Portuguese will be necessary.\n
