The Financial Controller is responsible for supporting the accounting, controllership, and financial compliance activities. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and adherence to corporate and statutory requirements, while acting as a finance business partner to leaders.
The position reports to Finance Manager Turkey and is based in Ataşehir, İstanbul. It operates on a hybrid working model, combining on-site presence with remote work in line with company policy.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Financial Reporting & Close:Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accountsManage and control monthly reporting and consolidation of resultsMonitor key corporate financial figures and performance indicatorsAnalyze deviations versus forecast and prior periods and define corrective actions
 Accounting & Compliance:Ensure accounting records and financial statements comply with US GAAP / localstatutory requirementsMaintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy andreliability of resultsSupport internal, external, tax, and statutory auditorsEnsure compliance with corporate policies and standards (Veralto / Videojetstandards)
 Budgeting & Forecasting:Support annual budget planningSupport forecasting accuracy and process improvementsDrive working capital management and cash flow optimization  
 Business Partnering:Act as a trusted finance business partner to managersProvide financial insight to support operational and strategic decision-makingSupport initiatives such as process optimization, ERP implementations, acquisitions, or divestments

The essential requirements of the job include:

Accounting degree requiredStrong background in accounting and controllership (audit experience is a must)Proven experience in financial reporting, compliance, and audit managementSolid understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworksFluent English requiredStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in a multinational or matrix organization is preferredERP system familiarity (Navision is used; learning on-the-job is possible)Advanced Excel skillsCPA or Chartered Accountancy qualification considered a bonus
