Job Title: Financial Controller Location: Jacksonville, FL | Experience Level: Expert | Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: One of our medical manufacturing clients is looking for a seasoned finance leader to manage their financial reporting, compliance, and ERP systems. This role ensures accurate, timely reporting, strong internal controls, and tax compliance across domestic and international operations. Key Responsibilities: + Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS. + Oversee financial consolidation and present reports to senior leadership. + Manage audits and regulatory filings; serve as the main contact for external auditors. + Own and optimize ERP systems to ensure data integrity and reporting efficiency. + Supervise tax compliance (federal, state, local, international), including VAT and sales tax. + Design and enforce internal controls and accounting policies. + Lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting accuracy and continuous improvement. Qualifications: + 10+ years in financial reporting, audit, or compliance roles. + Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and internal controls. + Strong ERP experience (SAP preferred); software implementation a plus. + Proven leadership and team development skills. + CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
