Job Description

Position Summary:            
The Senior Controller Analyst plays a key role in supporting the company’s financial health and strategic decision-making through in-depth analysis, reporting, and control of financial performance. This position partners closely with the Controller Manager of the department, Finance organization, and cross functional teams (Share Services) to ensure the integrity of financial data, adherence to accounting standards, and the continuous improvement of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards incl. IFRS.Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries review, account reconciliations, and variance analysis on SAP platforms, OHEP Hyperion and other IT platforms.Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and support data-driven decision-making.Consolidate financial results across business units and provide insightful commentary on trends, risks, and opportunities within the department.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead or support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections in coordination with business and operational teams.Analyze budget variances and provide actionable recommendations to the manager and director of the department.Assist in developing financial models to evaluate scenarios, investments, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Internal Controls & Compliance

Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, financial controls, and external audit requirements.Identify, implement, and monitor internal control improvements to strengthen accuracy and reduce risk.

Cost Control & Process Improvement

Perform detailed cost and margin analysis to identify inefficiencies and optimize profitability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Management, Logistics and Cross functional departments) to improve financial processes and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.Recommend and implement automation tools or reporting improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial management

Strategic Support

Participate in the evaluation of new business opportunities, capital investments, and other strategic initiatives.Serve as a financial advisor to business units, helping them understand the financial impact of operational decisions.

Automation, Digitalization & Process Improvement

Drive automation initiatives across financial reporting, data collection, and reconciliation processes using tools such as Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or similar.Partner with IT and process owners to identify manual or repetitive finance tasks that can be automated or digitized.Lead the implementation of digital transformation projects that enhance data accuracy, reduce processing time, and improve decision-making capabilities.Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), improve transparency, and enable real-time monitoring of financial performance

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Actuary, or a related field.5+ years of experience, this will be tested during the interviews with a practical exam.Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in Excel, SAP, Oracle Hyperion, ERP logistics, Business Warehouse and Smart View.Demonstrated ability to understand complex market and business needs and work with financial solutions and project calculations.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including SmartView), and data visualization tools.
