Job Description

Provide analytical support to controlling group to facilitate management decision making in the areas of headcount, personnel cost and accruals budget.

• Coordination of budget and quarterly forecasts for plant payroll cost.

• Payroll cost variance analysis by pay code. Able to explain actual deviations to budget and forecast on a cost account level.

• Provides controlling for production personnel productivity. Working with production departments to provide analysis of where inefficiencies exist and to drive improvements.

• Responsible for all reporting activities as it relates to direct and indirect headcount (actuals, budget, forecast).

• Review budget monthly with department leader and provides recommendations for areas of improvement.

• Responsible for management of plant accruals budget (planning, forecasting and year end coordination).

• Participate in month end closing and associated reporting activities.

• Prepare and present to plant management financial information in a concise and understandable way.

• Responsible for HC Long Term Planning annual coordination.

 

QualificationsMS Office. Excel intermediate to Advanced level.Minimum 2 years experience in similar field.Knowledge in Mexican and US labor laws and compensation practices considered as a plus.SAP knowledge (intermediate level).Critical and analytical thinking, able to work well with numbers.Ability to clearly explain financial deviations and analyses.Effective communication skills.Collaboration with operational teams.
