Shad and his team at Robert Half is recruiting for a West Houston Client that is looking for a motivated Financial Analyst to join our Petrochemicals team in Houston, Texas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to analyze financial data, develop forecasts, and contribute to strategic decision-making in the energy and natural resources sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools like SAP and Power BI to support the team’s financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning.
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
• Utilize SAP to manage financial transactions and reporting effectively.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitor financial performance and identify trends or areas for improvement.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in financial operations.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

Requirements
• 2 plus years Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency with SAP for financial reporting and data management.
• Expertise in Microsoft Power BI for creating visualizations and dashboards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Prior experience in the energy or petrochemical industry is a plus.
