Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst under the Customer Service business unit to support our main project. An ability to multi-task and handle challenging deadlines will be critical to the role.  This position can be based in Sacramento, CA or Lexington, NC with a hybrid work schedule.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Be in charge of financial, accounting and commercial tasks in Rail Infrastructure Maintenance portfolio. Perform monthly closing, and support financial controlling, and reconciliation of project cash flow and standard deviation analysis using SAP. Assure compliance with Siemens FRG and local GAAP requirements.     Oversee billings and cash collection with our main customer. Maintain trend, and variance analysis for Cost Centers. Contribute to process improvements and Financial Analysis. Prepare and update forecast and variance analysis, including dashboards of the various project and activities.

To thrive in this role, you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting /Business related-discipline,Minimum of 3+ years of experience in finance/accounting role and/or prior experience in rail industry or project business,Advanced analytical abilities, strong Microsoft Excel skills, Key User of SAP SD & PS,Strong communication skills and the ability to work well across internal organizations.
