The Finance Analyst supports finance planning and analysis activities by executing routine tasks, maintaining accurate financial data, and preparing performance reports, including AOP and profitability analysis. The role contributes to strategic planning through historical data and market insights, leverages digital tools to enhance reporting, and ensures timely, compliant financial reporting. Responsibilities also include documenting performance meetings, tracking follow-ups, and assisting with month-end close and internal controls.
Your role:
Operates under general supervision in a junior finance role, executing low-complexity financial planning tasks and contributing to cross-functional projects aimed at improving processes and operating models across centers of excellence, business groups, markets, and functions. Ensures alignment with assigned objectives by following structured processes to achieve project goals and maintain focus on financial responsibilities.
Supports strategic financial initiatives by analyzing existing policies within units or subunits, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending changes to enhance organizational performance. Assists Business Integrators with forward-looking analysis and business projections by providing historical data and market-specific insights related to operating plans, business cases, cash flows, strategic planning, and target setting.
Utilizes knowledge of data science and analytics to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions, assist in setting analytics goals, and enhance reporting accuracy. Maintains high-quality data in financial systems to establish a reliable source of truth, prepares detailed performance reports across various dimensions, supports automation of financial processes, and ensures timely execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles—including ICS controls and month-end close activities.
You are the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 4+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Modeling, Finance, Financial Control, Management Reporting and Analysis, or equivalent.
Your skills include financial modeling, data entry, and analysis, with a basic understanding of forecasting, FP&A, and financial markets. You’ve worked with ERP systems and reporting tools, and you use Power BI, Tableau, and Power Automate to visualize data and streamline tasks. You also bring experience in documentation, research, and supporting strategy execution.
You have a Bachelor's Degree/ Vocational Education in Business Administration, Business Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
You’re a good communicator who works effectively across matrix organizations, also possesses analytical thinking with the ability to problem-solve, observes trends & analysis through data, ability to balance work with speed and accuracy, while working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to prepare deliverables.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Mississauga, Canada is $56,000 to $86,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered.
