Job Title: Financial Analyst III

Job Description

The Financial Analyst will support the Merchant Services Finance team by producing and delivering financial and operational analysis. This will enable the Seller Support Contact Centers to operate more efficiently and predictably while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. The role involves supporting the closure of numerous global vendor accounts that are currently unused, thus helping to reduce active spend. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the tax department and other internal teams to review account balances and manage the varying complexities involved in closing each account.

Responsibilities

Support internal customer groups and controllers in all finance and accounting matters, including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and control.Collaborate with functional leaders and finance partners to develop scalable financial processes and business metrics.Provide financial and business analysis to site leaders and business partners, including cost-saving and process improvement recommendations.Assist in strategic operational planning processes, addressing identified risks and opportunities for the business team.Write systems queries to gather finance data and perform data-mining and analysis using tools such as MS Excel, Cognos/Essbase, and SQL.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.4+ years of relevant finance experience.Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Advanced analytical skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.Strong desire to exceed expectations and strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication.Experience in building and managing financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solving.Experience with Cognos and SQL is a strong plus.Comfortable handling large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
