Job Position: Financial Analyst III - Global Services & Support (GSS)

Location: Lagunilla, Costa Rica

Thermo Fisher Scientific has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst III to be a core member of our Global Services FP&A team. This position will provide support to the Sr. Manager, Finance and will partner directly with Global Function leaders.

Position Objective

Develop positive relationships with business leaders for financial reporting, OpEx, CAPEX, and closing.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare month-end close journal entries and reporting, update reporting files daily, and track CAPEX and depreciation.Collaborate with global management to develop regular monthly/quarterly management reporting packages, including financial and key performance indicator metrics.Cost center and headcount management to ensure accuracy for internal managerial reporting and optimize prioritization to drive operational efficiency.Support the consolidation of monthly forecasts and provide insights to global management and finance leads.Experience & RequirementsMust have: Proficient in Hyperion planning system, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms a plus.Familiarity with a tier 1 ERP system (E1, SAP, etc.) a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience required.3+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and managing costs, preferably in a matrixed organization.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Collaborative and inclusive company culture.Access to brand new technologies and resources.Dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
