We seek an emerging Finance professional with strong analysis and communication skills to support the Customer Channels Group as a Financial Analyst. Your position will report to a Commercial Finance Manager and will support a small group of Sales Directors as they implement contracts and form relationships with recognized Global companies in the Academic, Government, and Industrial segments. Helping you do this is a team of Finance professionals who meet weekly and work together to address issues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Analysis of Group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and Consortium's opportunities for current and new customersResponsible for the profitability assessment of business proposals, including assisting in the development of custom pricing models, in support of the sales team's attempts to retain and win customer business.Work with appropriate internal departments to accurately implement new contracts.Support the annual price roll process for customers requiring pricing updates as set forth in Customer contracts.Perform special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required by finance and business leadership.How will you get here?
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related fields.Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate and articulate business impact in financial terms.Effective interpersonal abilities demonstrating the capacity to establish and champion connections and communicate with integrity across all organizational hierarchies.Strong Excel and modeling skills, experience with MS PowerPoint, Cognos, and Power BI highly valuable.Excellent organization and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work as part of a team environment and individually.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
