The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in providing financial and strategic support to senior management across Operations, Marketing, and Sales. By conducting in-depth analyses, developing predictive models, and collaborating cross-functionally, this role ensures accuracy and delivers actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and business performance. **Job Responsibilities:** + Conduct monthly financial analysis of funeral, cemetery, marketing, and sales segments to identify trends, variances, and performance drivers. + Prepare and present comprehensive financial and statistical reports for senior leadership, with follow-up analysis as needed. + Gather and organize financial, sales, and operational data to develop meaningful cause-effect and correlation analyses. + Develop and validate predictive models and tools to evaluate initiatives, campaign drivers, and impact. + Ensure rigorous quality control of all financial reports, models, and supporting documentation. + Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships to understand processes, uncover insights, and assess financial impacts. + Support high-priority projects by improving analytical practices, managing timelines, and coordinating with other corporate teams. + Translate complex findings into clear visualizations and compelling presentations for diverse audiences, including senior leadership. + Serve as a trusted financial advisor to stakeholders across departments. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field. **Experience:** + Minimum of three (3) years in financial analysis, data analysis, or a related role. **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** + Advanced Excel skills (Power Query is a plus). + Experience with SQL and Power BI is a plus. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to build models, synthesize complex data, and ensure accuracy. + Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. + Innovative mindset focused on improving models and delivering actionable recommendations. + Proven ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment Postal Code: 77019 Category (Portal Searching): Finance and Accounting Job Location: US-TX - Houston Job Profile ID: C00284 Time Type: Full time Location Name: SCI Corporate Office
