This position is Monday- Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM- hybrid work
Responsibilities:
Prepares, analyzes and communicates key financial information and provides support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other related issues.Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes and budget review for compliance and opportunities.Serves as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.Completes special projects and duties including providing necessary research, forecasting and conflict resolution.Other duties as assigned.Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field such as Math, Computer Science or Data Analytics.A High School diploma/GED and four years of experience may substitute the experience and education requirements. An Associate’s degree and two years of experience may substitute the experience and education requirementsCertifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification preferred.Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, attention to detail, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Ability to complete basic analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation.Awareness of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development.Work Experience:( Financial Analyst I):
One year of Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, Investment Banking or Management Consulting experience preferred.Offset: High School diploma/GED and four years of experience.Offset: Associate’s degree and two years of experience.Work Experience (Financial Analyst II)
Minimum of two years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience.Healthcare experience preferred.Offset: High School diploma/GED and six years of experience.Offset: Associate’s degree and four years of experience.Offset: Master’s degree and one year of experience.Offset: Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience may offset one year of required experience.Work Experience (Financial Analyst III)
Minimum of three years financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience.Healthcare experience preferred.Offset: Master's Degree and two years of experienceOffset: Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience may offset one year of required experience.Ability to complete complex analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation.Demonstrated critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Demonstrated understanding of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development.Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment. In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
